TOVC ist ein klassisches Rocktrio, das die elektrische Gitarre gegen eine türkische Saz ausgetauscht hat. Die Kombination des exotischen Klangs dieser orientalischen Langhalslaute mit Elementen aus Alternative-, Hard- und Bluesrock erinnert an die legendäre „Alex Oriental Experience“ aus den siebziger Jahren. Mit Matthias Ambs (saz, voc), Andreas Schmidt (b) und Harald Wendle (dr) kleidet die „Conference“ ihren west-östlichen Stilmix allerdings in ein mehr am Song orientiertes, zeitgemäßes Gewand. Die erste CD der Band ist 2018 erschienen. Die aktuelle CD wird im Sommer 2021 erscheinen.
